Family Portrait session in Hyde Park, London

Autumn is here which is one of my favourite seasons to shoot in! I just love the golden colours of the leaves and soft Autumnal light that lends itself to beautiful family portrait photography. Carlie and her beautiful family got in touch earlier this month to arrange a mini family portrait session in Hyde park for their baby’s 1st Birthday. We couldn’t have picked a better day for it with clear blue skies and golden leaves providing a beautiful backdrop.

We took a short walk around the lovely Rose Gardens before exploring some of the beautiful greenery Hyde Park has to offer. When it comes to family portrait photography with young children I prefer to take a more natural approach to photography - positioning the family in a nice composition but letting events unfold naturally. I always want to try and capture the natural smiles and genuine interactions between a family.

I provide family portrait photography services across central London whether it be a backdrop of stunning landmarks such as Tower Hill and St. Paul’s Cathedral or one of our many beautiful parks - St. James Park, Hyde Park, Green Park etc. I’m happy to provide suggestions for alternative locations too!
