A beautiful small & intimate Wedding Ceremony at the Old Rectory in Hastings | Kent Wedding Photography
This Wedding was particularly special for me since the man in these photos is actually my cousin, travel and hiking buddy. When asked to shoot their small & intimate Wedding at the old rectory in Hastings I was more than happy to help. I absolutely love these very small Weddings and was super excited for their plans for a beach portrait session too. Nature is my favourite backdrop for portraits and what can be better than the epic coastline of Kent? We were also blessed with a beautiful sunny day (despite a rainy and windy start to the day) which looked absolutely beautiful during the portrait session.
Are you thinking of having a smaller Wedding? I think it’s a beautiful idea and in many ways, reduces unnecessary stress and lets us focus on the ones that matter most to us. The Old Rectory was a lovely little venue that was perfect for this type of Wedding and I’m sure there are plenty more similar venues dotted around Kent too. My aim as a Wedding photographer is to document the day in the most unobtrusive way I possibly can whilst providing some time for some natural and timeless portraits. The end result should be a nice blend of natural documentary photography and some beautiful Wedding portraits and group photos. I want to capture the happiness, warmth and emotion of the day so you can relive the day through the photos many years from now.
