Natural and fun family portrait session in nature, Hampstead Heath, London

I’m always really happy to do family portrait photos in one of the many beautiful parks in London. In this session we had the wonderful natural and classical backdrop of Hampstead Heath. Family portraits really are some of the most important photos I take as a photographer since they will mean so much in years to come. Children grow up so fast and I love to capture a moment in time for the families that book a portrait photography session with me.

My approach to family portraits is quite simple - take a walk through a park together or somewhere that means a lot to you and we simply take photos as we go, stopping for any beautiful compositions and also capturing the natural moments in-between. I really want to capture a very natural & timeless feel to my family portrait photos.

There are so many beautiful parks in London that we are almost really spoilt for choice!. There are classical gardens, wild open areas and beautiful green spaces. I really enjoying shooting in Hampstead Heath, Greenwich, Holland Park, St. James Park, Hyde Park and Regents Park.
