Elopement Wedding Photography session in Tokyo, Japan
This photo session holds a place close to my heart. I met Trent all the way back in 2008 during my working holiday in Tokyo and we have been close friends ever since. I always find it a joy to photograph friends as the relationship between the couple and the photographer is that much closer from the very beginning. It also just makes me happy to make my friends happy!
T&R got in touch with me to do some Wedding photos for them since they were foregoing a traditional ceremony and wanted to keep things simple. I’m not really sure what to call this photo session since they were already technically married before we did the shoot - a post getting married shoot?! An Elopement? A Pre Wedding? Let’s just call it a Wedding photo session in some of Japan’s beautiful nature.
I love small and intimate Weddings and I’m always excited when I receive an enquiry for an adventure elopement in nature. To me, nature is timeless and will never go out of fashion. I hope to start offering adventure elopements in Japan very soon since I very recently got approved for my business visa and will be taking bookings from March 2020! There is so much wonderful nature here that will make absolutely stunning backdrops for elopements and small Weddings.
