Relaxed and fun couples portrait photography session in nature - Hampstead Heath, London

These two lovely people embodied the very phrase ‘young and in love’ and I was delighted to receive their request for a ‘save the date’ portrait session for their upcoming Wedding in France. I could literally feel the love, warmth and joy radiating from them and the session was an absolute joy to shoot!

The original request was to shoot somewhere in nature. Fortunately for us London has plenty of parks to shoot in but some are more wild looking than others. Hampstead Heath offers a huge outdoor space with a more natural and wild look to it. Nature is probably my favourite backdrop for a photoshoot since I feel it is timeless, elegant and beautiful. It also gives us the breathing space away from the crowds so I can just focus on you two rather than people passing by getting in the way! So, Hampstead Heath was the perfect place for this very free, relaxed and casual session.

I really love both wide shots the show the entire scene but also very tight portraits too. I’m always open to ideas and any requests you have but overall, I just want to document a moment in time for you - showing the love, laughter, warmth, emotion and fun of being in a relationship.
